No one eats 1/3rd cup of cereal

The product tastes good, but the nutritional labels are misleading. The photo of the label you see here is not the one you receive. On the packet I received, it said the serving size is 1/3 cup. Who eats such a small serving of cereal? And when is the last time you stopped at 1/3 cup — or 3 tablespoons — of breakfast cereal? As they say, some things are too good to be true. The sugar calories add up quickly when you have an actual serving for a human. Don’t believe when they say there are 14 servings in the product. It was gone with 3 uses.

A good replacement for grains at breakfast. Easy to make, done quickly, taste is good. Paleo is a good way to lower your blood sugar by removing starches from your diet.

This is so so yummy! I love cereal every once in a while but didn’t want the grain filled cereals. This is such a good breakfast treat on days I want a cereal!

I miss hot breakfast cereal, but I cannot digest grains. The texture is not like oatmeal or Cream of Wheat, though it is not bad. It is just not as good as I was hoping for, thus the reason for the 4 star rating. The flavor, on the other hand, is dead on. It takes just like maple flavored instant oatmeal. I do not add as much water as they recommend, but I do like my cereal thick and chewy. Maybe that is just me. I will definitely be keeping a supply of this on hand. I would give it a 41/2 star rating if I could do a half star.

We absolutely love this cereal, it’s a great break from cooking and eating a lot of eggs if you’re looking for a change. It’s delicious and so easy to make. We are thinking of taking this camping because it’s so easy. Maple is my favorite because it cooks up nice and thickens, it is also just the right sweetness. The only reason I gave 4 starts instead of 5 is because it is really expensive.

I add some walnuts, dried blueberries and a dollop of coconut oil…….mmmmm…delicious!! I travel a lot and this is a great way to start my day without leaving my hotel room. I travel with a little hot water kettle for tea and now my “oatmeal”. Keeps me on track when traveling!!

Great replacement for oatmeal

Ordered this on deployment after getting really tired of stomach pain from the chow hall oatmeal. This product eased my newly developed bad reaction to oats and grains and it didn’t need anything to taste great. Its a simple product, so I don’t have much to say in praise beyond it tastes good and is easy to grab, eat, and go. I added in some goji berries after my second bag just to experiment with different tastes, no bad results. If you have a gluten sensitivity or full blown allergy, you should give this a try. Price isn’t exactly ideal, but it doesn’t break the bank either.

Great paleo in a hurry option

Tasty and filling. 1/3 cup with the recommended 1/2 cup of hot water (plus expansion) and a 1/2 cup of fresh fruit makes a huge bowl of goodness that takes me out of the house and five hours away from the next meal with no problem. While somewhat expensive it would cost more to assemble the ingredients yourself – I’ve tried. While not Whole30 compliant due to the sugar from the maple syrup if this is the worst you “cheat” then you’re doing pretty well.

I love the taste of this. Coconut is one of my favorite foods. I keep this in my office for a mid-morning snack. You can actually taste and feel the coconut in it. The coconut is not a strong flavor but almost an after taste. it is very easy to make wick is why I have it at work. All you need is some hot water, a cup and a spoon. However, I do not think the serving size is accurate or realistic on the packaging.

As a Paleo eater to treat autoimmune inflammation, I spend a lot time cooking. This hot cereal is a nice and fast alternative to all of the work. It’s quite good and just a little is very filling. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because of the price.
