Wonderful! I love this product.

OMG, I LOVE this product. I am a huge Nutella fan, so much so that I can’t keep it in the house. I am not supposed to have sugar, dairy oar gluten, so Nutella is out. I had lost hope of finding anything that tasted half as good again. Hands down, this product is great. I bought this on a slim hope that it might be ok, and I can tell you it is wonderful. I am eating it out of the jar with a spoon! No side affects for me other than knowing I need to reorder more NOW! I highly recommend.

Good substitute for Nutella, if pricey

I was putting together a gift basket for my Type 2 diabetic mother and saw the Go Lo Dark Hazelnut spread. She likes hazelnut and Nutella, so I figured I’d give it a try.

I love this “stuff” now that being said I don’t eat sugar at all !!!! I used to and I am pretty sure this doesnt taste like Nutella it’s also not loaded with tons and tons of sugar so I don’t expect it to taste like Nutellla. If you are used to eating a very high sugar diet, this isn’t for you, nothing tastes like sugar if that’s the taste you are used to. As for GI distress, didn’t happen to me but I totally understand that, I have those problems with some sugar alcohols so I’m thinking its a hit or miss thing, you have to try a little and see how your body reacts.

I am so happy to have a hazelnut spread other than Nutella

As a chocoholic and a convert to dark chocolate, this product even though it’s pricey is amazingly delicious. It arrived yesterday and half the jar is gone. Of course I started out by tasting a small spoonful and that went on for a while…..fabulous. This morning I used it as a spread on a few pancakes. I am so happy to have a hazelnut spread other than Nutella, because I must watch my sugar intake. At the rate I am indulging, I’ll be re-ordering pretty soon.

My new favorite indulgence

Fabulous stuff. Not a perfect Nutella dupe – it is far less sweet, and not quite as smooth – but the chicory gives it a complex, dark, slightly bitter taste that is addictive once you’ve acquired it. I like it the most layered with other things: on a low-carb wrap with peanut butter and dark chocolate chips, or with cream cheese and blackberries, or as a dip for apple slices. Etc. etc. If your favorite application for Nutella is by itself straight from the spoon, you may not be a fan of this.

Delicious, but watch for explosive gas!

I have been on a low carb diet for 4 years and eat very little sugar. To me this tastes just like Nutella as I remember it since I am not used to eating 30g of raw sugar in one spoonful. However, for of those of you sensitive to sugar alcohols (like me), watch out for room-clearing gas. I’m talking the loud and deadly variety.
