I’ve been on my paleo journey for quite some time. I love getting to have bacon or sausage every day for breakfast with my eggs. But eggs get boring eventually. This cereal is not cheap, but one serving fills me up and tastes great. I usually have it about once a week with some berries and I always look forward to it. It’s the best paleo cereal I’ve tried (the other ones I tried were all homemade by the way). I definitely recommend it if your wallet can afford the splurge!

I crave it. It’s so so so so so yummy!! I’ll add maple syrup, some maca and some raisins and it’s seriously the best breakfast. It’s funny because I’ll go to bed excited to wake up and eat it!!!!!!!!!!

Due to chronic health issues, I have to follow a very strict diet, which doesn’t allow dairy, grains, excessive sugar ( only the tiny amount naturally found in foods…never desserts), or much fruit. As a result, I sometimes can feel very deprived! This cereal is such a treat for someone who literally has not had any form of cereal in over 15 years. It is like eating hot cream of wheat/oatmeal. I am so thankful to have found it! It helps to break up the monotony of bacon and eggs or leftovers for breakfast!

I love this grain free cereal so much I have now purchased 3 bags! It’s so simple to prepare, you just add some hot water to it and wait 3 minutes and you are ready for a breakfast that makes you feel amazing! I am a grazer, I get hungry so frequently thru the day but when I eat one serving of this cereal I feel full for hours which is a blessing for me! I like it plain, it has a great texture, not slimy in anyway or to watery but just right! I’m very picky about texture so I was worried but it turned out to be perfect!

I have a gluten intolerance and have been looking for an easy breakfast option for days when I don’t have time to heat up a meaty meal. I am not a huge fan of traditional oatmeal or cream of wheat so I was not expecting this to wow me. Some reviewers had mentioned the tiny portion size of just 1/3 cup was not enough to satisfy them. I just received this and quickly made myself a portion. I scooped out 1/3 of a cup of the hot cereal into a bowl and added 1/2 cup of hot skim milk, 1 tbs of real maple syrup, 1/2 banana, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. I have to admit, it is good! It has a similar consistency to a thick cream of wheat instead of a steel cut oatmeal. The portion once made is a generous amount. If you are used to using preportioned oatmeal sachets from a box then you will be pleasantly surprised at how much just 1/3 of a cup makes you! It tastes strongly of coconut which I do not mind. I will purchase another bag so that I won’t run out when I start work next week. I need to go now so that I can finish my bowl before it gets cold! 🙂

This is a really interesting breakfast food. I mash up a banana in mine to give it a little more flavor. I’m only 20 days in on the whole30, so it may be that my taste buds still need some ‘fine tuning’, but there’s not a lot of flavor despite the amazing aroma. I find that it ‘sticks to my ribs’ for a while compared to eating just fruit as I’m prone to do in the mornings, but it’s not so tasty that I’m compelled to have a bowl every day. The chia seeds make for a most interesting texture and I use more than the suggested amount of water, it tends to be pretty ‘solid’ if you only use the amount of water suggested on the package.

For those living the low carb lifestyle, this is a godsend. It’s nutty and really creamy when you add the water. It’s not sweet–thus the unsweetened label but add some sugar free maple syrup, and it’s awesome.

Oatmeal, hot cereal, and porridge are three of the things I miss most as a diabetic who manages her sugars via low-carb eating. I’ve tried various at-home recipes that I’ve seen on blogs that almost always fall incredibly short–either as far as taste or texture. So I went looking for a commercial version. This is pretty much the only brand that exists, and I was heartened by all the positive reviews.

Though I’ve been Paleo for two years (and lost 45 lbs), I really (REALLY) miss hot cereal during the cool weather. Tried several concoctions but found none that were satisfactory…. This hot cereal has a nice flavor, kind of “nutty”. Consistency is very much like Malt-O-Meal or Cream of Wheat. I used 1/4c water & 1/4c coconut milk w/the 1/3c cereal. Found that I needed to heat longer in the microwave to cook to my taste. Bottom line – I liked it, it’s Paleo, it tastes good, & it fills that “comfort food” need for me. I’ll buy it again and may look for more products from this company. Even my non-Paleo husband pronounced it “not bad….” High praise, indeed. 🎉

I would say I pretty much like this product. I do doctor it up a bit by adding some stevia, some coconut oil, some dry fruit and sometimes I add some chia seed. I think butter would be another option in place of the coconut oil and I may try adding some cacao powder to it some time. ….. The only thing that I am not crazy about is the paste like consistency of the cereal itself but that can be somewhat remedied by adding things like chia seed or chopped nuts or I suppose one could even try adding some cooked oatmeal or millet etc. ….. The way I’ve been preparing it at this point (especially with the coconut oil added), it seems to satisfy my hunger well and carry me for a number of hours through the day no problem.
